What does a recruiter ask on a phone screen?
Usually why you are interested in the role, a short walk through your background, your salary expectations, when you could start, and whether you have questions. Casey asks all of these.
How should I answer the salary question?
Give a researched range for the role and location, and say you are flexible on the overall package. Practising the sentence out loud makes it easier to say without hedging.
